T. 7--Byrg

This piece was also written before I decided to assign it to a Bot Island story. This time I thought it sounded good for my fourth story, “The Spectrum War of Byrg,” which tells of four kingdoms on the land of Byrg waging a war against each other. An interesting note on the last four measures of the piece: The theme on these four measures were borrowed from a song I wrote for another original character, Nate Rator. At the time I was working on a musical based on a skit I wrote my sophomore year in my high school speech team. The musical would be about the Narrator of all fairy tales, Nate Rator, and to introduce himself he sings a song about what he does. Part of the tune I created for that song was used in the last four measures of this piece. Why? For fun. I wanted to see if a theme written for one piece could work for another if I tweaked it a little. In this case, though it’s a bit random, I think it fits as an acceptable ending for the piece.
